Why Franklin Direct

Franklin Direct is a print management company specialising in book production and offshore product sourcing.

After spending most of the last 20 years as a The Franklin Press, a  print manufacturer, we saw the need to offer our customers more. The world of print is evolving, and to stay at the cutting edge we had to evolve with it. In 2012, we changed our name to Franklin Direct and set about forging strong relationships with suppliers in China and Australia, with a focus on book production, and the ability to offer our customers a high quality product at a commercially viable price. We work closely with authors to bring their vision to life, from the planning stages through to factory visits by our representatives.

These relationships have allowed us to expand our capabilities to other print related fields, such as packaging and product sourcing. In 2016 we established an office in Shenzhen, China, operated by Ms Ivy Dai, and her husband Geoff. Ivy has over 10 years experience in the print industry along with her degree in freight and logistics, while Geoff has worked in the print manufacturing industry for over 10 years.

Our motto, ‘Your Business. Our Business’ is a bold statement that we stand behind. With a wide range of services, and an increased emphasis on customer service, we are here to work with you, we are here to work for you.
